Kevin Haiar has more than twenty years’ experience performing structural design for a variety of project types including retail, industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. Kevin is a proven project manager with an ability to push designs forward and help clients arrive at solutions specific to each project. His experience includes design with all major construction materials and is familiar with numerous fabrication and erection systems for low and mid-rise buildings. He also has experience with design of various deep foundation systems.
Kevin's ability to be creative and open minded in solving technical challenges both in design and in the field during construction makes him a valuable member of the construction team.
TJ Merrell, PE, SE
Principal
TJ Merrell is a licensed structural engineer with 15+ years of design experience. He currently holds professional licenses in 12 states and has had the opportunity to be involved in the design of hundreds of structures in his career across a broad spectrum of project types including multi-family residential, hotel, commercial, heavy industrial, power transmission, and retail. TJ has experience with a broad range of construction materials including cold formed steel, conventional steel, pre-engineered metal buildings, pre-cast concrete.
Having a complimentary background in sales and business development in pre-engineered solutions, TJ has a well-rounded and unique perspective on maximizing structural efficiency while maintaining communication with construction teams. He seeks to lower overall project costs, decrease durations, and increase project value by providing practical structural solutions while helping to bridge a gap between technical and non-technical construction partners.
JED DRUFFEL, PE
Principal
Jed is a dedicated engineer with over 25 years of diverse structural engineering experience across a broad range of municipal infrastructure, industrial facilities, commercial, residential, and educational projects. His understanding of structural design, analysis, constructability, and durability allows him to adapt to a variety of project requirements and challenges. Collaboration is central to how Jed works, thriving in team environments where open communication, shared accountability, and mutual respect drive success. Whether coordinating with Architects, Contractors, or fellow Engineers, he values the exchange of ideas and believes that the best outcomes are achieved when teams work cohesively toward a common goal, keeping focused on delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations while maintaining strong professional relationships.
Jed brings a detail-oriented approach to his work, particularly when specializing in municipal and industrial structures where durability, longevity, and performance are critical for each project. He has provided structural design for numerous wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, water treatment facilities, reservoirs, as well as food processing and material processing facilities.
